The Archangels Explain What Drives Them
I read an article written by an author who was complaining about all the anti-Christian articles on Medium, and there were the predictable anti-Christian comments that followed. It made me sad. To be fair, although the article was more anti-hate than anti-anyone or anything, the author’s tone was a bit aggressive and judgmental, but he made a good point, as did several of the commenters.
The author preached that it was wrong to blame an entire religion and its followers for what a minority say and do, and the commenters truthfully reminded that many have been harmed during their experiences with Christians and Christianity. There were many valid points all around. What makes me sad is the hatred and the people who tried to justify it.
There’s much too much hatred in the world, and it’s spread around quickly and easily. Hatred leads to more hatred, and whenever an entire group of people are blamed for the actions of others who label themselves in the same way, it lacks reasonable credibility. I don’t want to make this about any one religion or group, because there is abuse and extremists in every group, religious or otherwise. I don’t want to make this about any particular individuals or actions. Let’s just talk about zealots and fanatics in general. I asked the Archangels for their…
