With respect, Donna, it’s not just one source or analysis who said Trump lied throughout the debate, it was several, and they all had easily verified facts to back up what they said. Trump is still saying he did nothing wrong regarding the trials he has undergone, despite the truth, again backed up with enough proof, to find him guilty of sexual assault and illegal business practices, not only that convinced judges to find him guilty, but for a jury to find him unanimously guilty on all 34 charges. The jury was made up of people affiliated with different political backgrounds. He’s a convicted criminal. He said he’d never met E Jean Carroll, and they have pictures of the two of them at parties laughing together. He’s not allowed to run any charities, because of misappropriating funds.

I think there are things he’s been blamed for unfairly, like the fallout from Covid. Obviously, he could not control aspects of that, and it wasn’t something we’d dealt with before as a nation in modern times, so I don’t think that’s a fair attack, whether or not it could’ve been handled better, but facts like the ones that refute his statements are facts. I watched him on TV after the January 6th riot call the rioters good people and that he appreciated them. I don’t equate the rioters with terrorists like some people do, but I do think his lies fired them up and led to the riot. His own people have said he knew he lost the election at the time.

In any case, I think we owe it to ourselves to find out the truth. I’ll be the first to say it’s very hard to know which sources you can trust, but when the proof offered is verifiable, rather than just someone’s opinion and when multiple sources are stating the same thing, I think we have to pay attention. Again, I say this respectfully, and I also acknowledge that the concerns about Biden should also be taken seriously, although those concerns are less easy to prove.
