Why Are People Freaking Out About Trans Kids?

I started Momma Jo’s daycare duty today (Momma Jo being me, daycare being for my angelic granddaughter.) Her favorite show is Ms. Rachel on the YouTube channel, a former teacher from New York who brought her early childhood teaching skills into living rooms all around the world. Ms. Rachel has shows that cater to infants and toddlers. Infants learn baby sign language and beginning language development, then she gets into the basic colors, shapes, numbers, letters, etc. for preschool kids.
My granddaughter knows the signs for eat, more, milk, all done, among others. She could sit mesmerized for hours if I let her, and her favorite part is when they sing. She thinks I’m so cool when I sing with her TV friends.
Ms. Rachel’s cast of characters and helpers are very diverse. Most, if not all races are represented, and they’re all very talented dancers, singers, and teachers. Ms. Rachel and especially one of her employees are under fire right now, because it came out that one of her best singers and guitar player prefers to use the pronouns they and their, etc. All of a sudden, several parents and other adults started pitching a fit that they identify as non-binary.
