What’s Your Favorite Way to Practice Self-Care?

In keeping with the Archangels’ major push for self-care, I’d like to provide a place where we can all share our self-care practices with each other, hopefully in the comments section. Eventually, I’ll gather and organize them and put them in an article for easy access (heck, if I get enough responses, maybe I’ll write a book!). Below, I share some of my favorites.
Free ways to practice self-care:
- Meditation with intention. There are many ways to meditate for many reasons, but there’s all kinds of research available touting the benefits of meditation. If you have trouble focusing, as I did in the beginning, start with guided meditations. You can find them on YouTube and various free apps.
- Listening to my favorite music, with headphones. I love listening to all kinds of music. There is no way I could pick a favorite artist or even a genre. I have tons of playlists, some based on artists, genres, moods, motivation, etc. I included headphones (or ear buds), because it provides a deeper experience for me.
- Going to a park, preferably with trees, and just enjoying being outside. You can bring music or just listen to the sounds around you. I have a thing for trees…
