Very interesting. The Angels know all, and they teach me in a way I can understand. Regardless of where these terms originated, they are now buzz words, and they mean different things to different people. It’s kind of like God, Spirit, Source, etc. Different words that all suggest a higher power. We confuse ourselves, each other, and topics through terminology.
The point of the article was not the history or origin of the terms, although I found your explanation quite interesting, but rather that everyone experiences their own spiritual path, regardless of what you call it, and everyone is different. There is no right or wrong way. I’m the one who asked the question, based on an email I received from a reader. They chose to answer it in a different direction. This happens fairly often. There have been several times I asked a question about something and the Archangels decide there’s something more important to address.
So you see, their response was not ignorant but designed to clarify, encourage, and comfort those who need it where spiritual growth is concerned, such as the person who sent the original question who said he’d been doing shadow work but he didn’t know what he was supposed to do next. The point is that there is no specific next step, except the one that works for the individual.
In short, they chose to address the question not from an historical point of view, but something far more useful and relatable to how these terms are used today, as well as offering guidance to those of us who are confused.
Thanks for the comment. I hope this clarifies things for you. Blessings.
