Too Many Extremists on Both Sides!
We Need to All Mellow Out!

I had a really effective and sane reminder in the form of an article on my Apple news app the other day, that not all Republicans are MAGA folks, and they are not all the enemy! Most of the time, I’m very cognizant that there are extremists on both sides of the aisle, and one is as bad as another. Why? Because what they all mostly have in common, if you ask me, is that they want to do things their way, whether or not other people agree. I’m not saying they don’t have valid points, but when you try to shove your ideology down someone else’s throat without concern for their own views, that’s a recipe for disaster.
The article I’m talking about was out of Michigan, and it was about a man who was running for country commissioner. He is a Republican. The current county commissioners he was challenging were comprised of eleven members, eight of which were considered hardline Republicans, a la Trump style, and they were elected two years previously when people were furious about mask mandates, vaccinations, and other issues connected to the COVID epidemic.
