The Archangels Praise the People Who Make Our Lives Richer
One of my oldest, dearest friends called me this morning and asked me to meet her for breakfast tomorrow. She’s eight years younger than me, and she’s still busy raising her kids and working, so we treasure the times we can find to get together. We’ve been through so much together, and she is absolutely irreplaceable.
We’ve helped each other through engagements, break-ups, divorces, work problems, illness, and deaths of loved ones. The morning I found my deceased husband, she called me out of the blue. She never called me early on a weekday morning, because we were both always busy getting ready for work, taking care of our kids, etc. But she called me that morning, because she just felt the need to do so, and when I told her my husband had passed, she was at my house within the hour.
She set up a rotation for her and our friends to bring in food and watch out for me. She’s watched my kids grow up, as I now watch hers. She’s always there for me, and she honors me by letting me be there for her when she needs me. There’s a certain synchronicity at play between us. We get feelings when one of us needs the other. We instinctively know when we should call each other, when something isn’t right in our worlds.
