This reminds me of when I was a kid and asked my mother who created God? Her answer, "God just is" made absolutely no sense to me, and I'm sure my answer to you will have the same effect.

I asked the Angels something along these lines, and they pretty much said that there was no one around before God, and since he is the Creator of All, no one can attest to what came before. Again, not very satisfying, much less informative.

I really wish I had a clever answer for you, but I don't. I don't know why anything was set in motion. That's okay with me, not knowing. I don't know or understand a lot of things, and I don't have to in order to find peace of mind.

I'm not going to offer you the common platitudes regarding taknig some things on faith and what faith is. If you're one who wants proof (my husband was like this), there's none that I have to offer.

I think we all have to deal with life, faith, etc. in a way that makes sense to us. No one way or answer is going to satisfy everyone. I don't think that I'm right and other perspectives are wrong; I think there's room for all kinds of ideas, and I enjoy hearing about and discussing them, always respectfully (as you have been) and with an open mind. I know what I know. I speak my truth. But truth is highly personal and subjective, affected by all kinds of factors. So, when I disagree with someone, I don't fault them or accuse them of lying. They're speaking their own truth, as they've come to understand it. I don't think I'm better or smarter than anyone else. I just look at life in a way that makes sense to me.

So, whether we agree or even understand each other doesn't really matter, at least to me. Regardless, I wish you well, sincerely, I won't try to convince you of anything; I respect your opinions, whether I agree with them or not. You've asked me these questions today, and I've answered them honestly, to the best of my ability, whether or not they make sense to you. I appreciate your comments and questions, and I especially appreciate that you've offered them in a very respectful way. That's not always the case!

Wishing you peace, love, and joy,

Jodie
