This is what I know, with clarification from the Angels as I went through the same thought process as you have. It all comes down to learning what we need to know. We plan our life in groups, so we can all decide on which lessons we need to learn, identifying which ones to pursue in the next life, and we work together so we can get the most bang for our buck. As you know, many lessons come from hardships, so one may receive the hardship needed from another who agrees to give it. Both are learning experiences.

For example, we can’t understand how devastating remorse can feel without the experience. Also, it’s a balance. We can’t appreciate light if we haven’t known darkness, etc. If we don’t see people like Putin in action, we don’t know we need to change how things are done and make the world better.

Hence, there is no punishment for souls, because each life on Earth serves multiple purposes for many souls as well as mankind, whether those actions are considered by us as good or bad. That’s why it’s a good idea to focus on the learning achieved rather than what led up to it.

Lastly, it’s all tied into what caused the Earth to fall in the first place. Before the fall, souls came to Earth to experience life in a physical body. They all came with universal knowledge intact and open, continuous connection to the higher realms and dimensions. They all knew that things like jealousy and anger and fear were not good things to experience, but knowing without experiencing how negative they and their consequences could be, led to pushing boundaries and eventual ruin that led to the fall just so survival was possible. Because of that time, the first reason to come to Earth in a body is now to learn as well as experience important lessons, so the devastation wouldn’t be repeated.

The only thing I’m unclear about is exactly what lines were crossed that led to the fall. I know it has to do with creations made and a shift from working together in unity for loving reasons to competition and personal glory. I’m not sure if I can’t get a clear idea because I don’t have enough foundation, since I don’t remember what it was like then, or if I’m not meant to get the full picture. I do know, only recently, that my soul lived on Earth at that time and tried to do the same thing we’re trying to do now, by building bridges and offering Love, Light, and guidance for the people of that time.
