This is exactly why religion has no place in schools. You can’t invite one you agree with and exclude the rest. Religious education belongs in churches and homes, not public places, and especially not schools. If you promote one, it is disrespectful to every person of another religion, making kids of other faiths feel like they’re not as good. I know you think Christianity is the only true religion, and there’s nothing wrong with that, as long as you don’t try to force it on others. Oklahoma wants to teach the Bible in schools, Louisiana wants the 10 Commandments posted in all classrooms, and Texas has an “optional” language arts curriculum with incentives to use it that pushes Christianity. That’s grooming kids! That’s promoting one religion over others. As long as people keep trying to force Christianity on kids in schools, you can expect more of this, and you don’t have any moral or legal ground to stand on, just because you think your religion is the right one. Leave religion to parents and churches.
