There’s nothing like the purgatory described in Catholicism. The closest thing I know of is if a souls body dies, and they don’t cross back over right away. This usually happens when the person is scared of judgment and punishment, neither of which happens. Eventually, they find their way with the help of guides. Thanks for the question. Blessings!
