The Archangels Discuss Races and Racism

My friend, Andrea, one of the cohosts of the Beyond the Reiki Gateway podcast on which I was a guest a couple of times, had a great question for the Angels about races of men and the belief that “the mark of Cain” from the Bible was why African Americans had darker skin. This is an excuse that many have used in the past to justify racism, slavery, etc. She proposed it was time to set the record straight, and I agree. I asked the Archangels, and their response follows.

Question: How did the different races come to be, and can you comment on the idea that “the mark of Cain” is the black skin of African Americans?

Answer:

In the mind and plan of the Creator of All, there is only one race on Earth, and that is the human race. The Biblical mark of Cain has nothing to do with race or skin color in terms of origin. The story of Cain And Abel is symbolic of sin and the inability to hide it from God and irrelevant to race.

Human beings place a lot of emphasis on physical appearance, largely due to the human senses and how they differentiate between things and people. The sense of sight helps the human brain categorize things, as do the other senses…
