Thank you for sharing this piece of the puzzle. You make excellent points, some of which I wasn’t aware. Nobody knows the circumstances of another in the position of having to make the difficult decision of whether or not to carry on with a pregnancy beyond the fact that the woman is pregnant. They don’t know her background, everything that brought her to this choice, or the ramifications likely to come. The reason so many people can’t imagine so many of the things you mentioned is because they don’t want to do so. They’re unable and unwilling to think past their limited knowledge. They don’t want anyone to fill in the blanks, because they don’t want to understand other viewpoints. They just want to tell others what to do and limit choices to those which fall under what they’ve decided is acceptable. In fact, they want to force people to follow their beliefs and forget the rest. People go on and on about the rights of the unborn child, when their interest is more about forcing people to do their will and taking rights away. I’m appalled that this is even up for debate again and view it as a giant step backwards for basic, human rights.
