Thank you for explaining this so well. There are fanatics in all religions, unfortunately, and I never believed these extremes were truly of Islam, but I didn’t know enough to say why. Now I know and can explain if it ever comes up. I think all world religions promote love and kindness at their core, and I respect all beliefs. We all find our own paths, and there are many.
