The Archangels Explain Why It’s Important
Tomorrow is the Summer Solstice. It is the longest day of the year and designates the first day of summer. I’ve been reading many articles about the significance of the solstice, and there are so many viewpoints and commentary as to what it is, what it means, and how it affects us, I decided to ask the Archangels for their input. Following is their message.
Question: What is significant about the Summer Solstice?
Answer:
People have long celebrated the solstice and equinox days on Earth, although they were not always called by these names or as precisely identified as they are now. This is particularly true for people who depend on agriculture for living. Long has it been for those who live off the land to appreciate and acknowledge many things tied to it, especially those having to do with the harvest.
The sun, the rain, seasons, weather, pestilence, and other factors that affect the harvest have all been the subjects of prayer, worship, fear, and hope. People pray for a good, rich harvest, and they pray with gratitude when it is reaped. When the land or weather do not yield, people live in fear and desperation, often praying for help and sometimes wondering what they either did or did not do to bring…
