Shirley, I’m sorry you’re so upset. I can only speak for myself when I say this is not about the money, although some people rely on that money. It’s about transparency, honesty, misrepresentation, respect, and fairness. People are not being paid what they were told they would be paid. They are being accused of using AI and having their accounts suspended when they are not guilty of that. They are getting, in some cases, many reads, comments, etc., including by Friends of Medium, and making cents for the entire day. Now, if that was the agreement, fine. But it’s not. Dr. Yildiz is on the same page after doing extensive research that supports what I’ve said in the article. As a matter of fact, he supported the article I wrote. I realize a company needs to make profits, but when it puts profits above people and integrity, there’s a problem.
