People can twist the meaning and the words and have done so to convince and defend their bad behavior. What amazes me isn’t just their twisted interpretation, but how they completely disregard the rest of the scriptures that do not support their actions. It’s pretty hard to misinterpret “love thy neighbor” and “judge not, lest ye be judged!”
