My understanding is that the ascension of the planet began in 2012, and we are currently in the fifth dimension. Whether or not the planet continues to ascend is not known. Although the planet is in 5D, the majority of people have not embraced it yet. Many feel a difference, but they don’t know why, and most still have a 3D mentality, as it’s what we’ve all known.

There is an expanding awakening taking place. Things that have gone on for generations unchecked are being noticed, and people are beginning to address existing problems, but it doesn’t yet include the vast majority, although it is headed in that direction.

Those born since 2012 will be more reflective of 5D rather than 3D. They will feel more comfortable cooperating and working with others, rather than competing with them. They will not understand or accept things like inequality, poverty, war as a response, etc. If they are in such settings, they will not feel comfortable. Unity and love and equality for all will come much more naturally to them.

Although the planet is already in 5D, the collective consciousness is still in transition. Blessings.
