More Greed Leads to Lower Quality

Just Look at Medium

Aren’t you tired of companies who are only concerned about the bottom line? I get it. Companies exist to make a profit. If they don’t make a profit, they go bankrupt. However, there needs to be a happy ‘medium’ (no pun intended) between cutting expenses in order to make more money and cutting the quality of products and services, or the company will eventually still go bankrupt. To me, it’s not that hard to understand, but sometimes these hotshot CEO’s can’t seem to grasp it.

How many of you have worked for companies who make outrageous demands and just expect you to fall into line and do what you’re told? So many companies have pursued this tactic that we have a new workplace issue called “quiet quitting.” So many people are mistreated and disrespected by their bosses and corporate, they now do the bare minimum required to keep their jobs long enough for them to find another one. They don’t take pride in their work or hold a high level work ethic, because they know they’re not appreciated or valued.

Too many managers and owners of companies treat their employees so poorly, expecting them to suck it up, regardless of what’s asked of them, regardless of whether or not it’s feasible, regardless of whether or not it makes sense, and regardless of whether or not they feel compromised doing it.
