Let’s Put a Ban on Hate
The Archangels Offer Guidance
I ordered my “There is no place for hate here” sign today. One of my readers told me she sees them in her Canadian neighborhood, and I really liked the idea. It got me thinking that it would be a good movement to start, an anti-hate movement, maybe designating a color of ribbon that people can wear like pink for breast cancer or the rainbow for LGBTQ+.
I even looked up symbolic colors of ribbons. A lot of them have multiple meanings, usually including certain diseases and causes among them. I thought, maybe white? White symbolizes peace and purity, as well as all kinds of cancers. I think hate is a kind of cancer in some ways. It spreads and poisons.
I found out that purple, aside for standing for Alzheimer’s support, also represents anti-violence, and we all know that hate often leads to violence. Before I went any further down the rabbit hole in my mind, I decided to ask the Archangels what they thought about an anti-hate movement, and their response follows.
