Jennifer, I’m so sorry. It takes some time to find your place again, at least it did for me. I don’t send sympathy cards very often, because, despite appreciating the thought behind them, I find them depressing. Instead I gift a new journal. It’s for planning a new life when you’re ready. If I could, I’d send you one now.

In the meantime, know that there’s no such thing as a permanent death. Souls live on, and they greet us when it’s our time to cross over. Until then, they remain close by and watch over us, whether you recognize signs or not. I hope that helps a little.
