Is Extinction a Natural Process?
The Archangels Discuss Nature’s Balance
I had a great question from a friend today regarding animal extinction and whether or not it’s just a part of nature, or if it is a problem that should be addressed. I asked the Archangels for an answer, and their response follows.
Question: Regarding extinction, is that all part of the higher plan? Is it natural and expected for species to become extinct?
Answer:
The Earth lives in repeated cycles which affect weather, climate, and nature in general. If these cycles change slowly and gradually as they are supposed to, many animals adjust and evolve, but some cannot. You can see this process today in many places. Many animals’ coats change in color and/or in thickness, so they can better survive and remain concealed. These are natural changes often made. However, if the cycles come more quickly, or if they affect an animal species in a way they are not able to adjust to, it can mean an end of a species.
The time of the creatures you call dinosaurs is an example of both extinction and evolution. Some of the dinosaurs perished permanently, because they could not adapt quickly enough to survive changes in climate and atmosphere, while…
