I’m sure there are spiritual people who genuinely want to help people, and there’ are probably some who are focused on making money. Tolle is the exception, not the rule. Most people who provide spiritual services never get rich, but like everyone who provides a product or service, there’s no reason they shouldn’t get paid, especially if that’s how they’ve chosen to make a living.

Nobody seems to question religious leaders making money, and there are many more wealthy clergymen than spiritual workers, I would think, and several of those have been found to be dishonest and have fallen from grace for doing the same things they’ve condemned others for doing. It depends on the individual whether or not they are trying to help or if there’s something else going on, just like it’s up to everyone whether or not their work is done fairly and shows good character and work ethic, don’t you think?

Thanks for the article.
