I’m so sorry for more stress on top of losing your mother. I haven’t attended church in years, and I feel closer to God now than ever before. However the service turns out, and whoever ends up leading it, I’m sure your mother knows you love and honor her. Take some time for yourself to find your own peace, as your mother already has.
