I Won’t Watch any more Debates
An Honest Reaction with Real Concerns
I didn’t watch the Biden/Trump debate, because honestly, Trump gets on my last nerve, and he doesn’t really say anything new. Before that debate, there were already calls to replace Biden, and I thought it was way too late in the game to do so. Show’s you how much I know!
Anyway, when Harris stepped up, I didn’t know much about her. She’s been a pretty quiet, lowkey kind of VP, and I never heard much about her. After listening to her and Walz, I really liked what they had to say, although I recognized their answers as being less than concrete solutions in some areas. For me, they offer hope compared to the vitriol that’s always spilling from Trump, and I prefer to focus on the positive.
So, I decided to watch the debate, and like most people, I think Harris clearly presented herself better, and I think Trump sounded as hateful as he always does, constantly lying and pushing propaganda. No surprises there. Having said that, I don’t see that anyone was particularly victorious, and although I still plan on voting for Harris, I didn’t walk away thinking if she won, my life would get a whole lot better. Further, I think for the people who have already decided who they’re going to vote for, for whatever reason, nothing changed. Maybe it will help some undecided people, but for those…
