I wish I knew a better way to combat racism. I can only imagine how frustrating it is for you. My son used to live in Waco, TX where racism is everywhere. We’d enter a restaurant and be greeted with smiles and seated, then I’d see someone of another race enter and be quietly seated without welcome or smiles. I went shopping there and excused myself as I worked my way around a Black woman in the aisle, and she looked at me with suspicion and didn’t return my smile, and I didn’t blame her. At the same time I wanted to reassure her that I wasn’t like some of the people she’d no doubt had to deal with, and it made me so sad.

Someday, I hope people wise up. The Archangels say it will happen, that people will value all people As equals and racism will mostly be a thing of the past, and I can’t wait. Blessings!
