I watched the docuseries on Netflix. The first half was their love story, without any criticism of anyone. In fact, the criticism was minimal, mostly about the British press, never about the queen, and the most offensive parts involved stating researchable facts of what his family did to them. The worst was when they cancelled their security detail with a couple days notice, and a story broke with their street address, leaving them vulnerable to attack from anyone who wanted to hurt them. The shame of literally putting the young family in harms way far outweighs sharing any dirty laundry. The couple came across very sincerely. There are two sides to every story (at least), but that bit about cancelling their security detail, putting their lives at risk, is a lot more serious than sharing verifiable , if unsavory, truths about family members. Who knowingly puts family, including an innocent child, at risk like that?
