I think different things work for different people, and there is no right or wrong way to pursue understanding life as long as it brings love, peace, joy and hope and inspires the person to live a life of loving kindness, whether it’s atheist, religious, or spiritual in nature. When you say that the passages you quoted mean nothing, I think they mean nothing to you, but they obviously mean something to many others. If we can all just respect each other’s differences, maybe we can learn from each other. There doesn’t have to be a right or wrong way, just different ways that work for different people.
