I stay away from the news for the most part. I read the headlines, but I skip the articles. The headlines are full of “mights,” “mays,” and “coulds,” but very few facts. It’s like they want to scare us, and I’m not buying into it. Most of it will never happen, and if it does, unity among the masses will be the key to fixing things. My dad used to say “don’t borrow trouble,” and I repeat it often. I’m not saying there’s no reason to worry, but if we allow ourselves to get caught up in things that have yet to happen, if they do come to pass, we’ll already be exhausted. You can be vigilant without engaging with the fear attached to mere possibilities. Hang in there. We’re all in this together.
