I read your story and loved it! I so enjoy your comments, Marc. I’m sorry to hear about the PTSD you deal with, and I hope you eventually find some relief. In the meantime, remember you’re not alone.

Also, I wanted to share with you that my maternal grandmother immigrated with her family to the US as a child, long before WWII, and during the war, she told my mother not to tell anyone that they came from Germany. I think about the unfairness of the Japanese-American relocation camps and know the only reason my grandmother and her family didn’t suffer that fate was because they blended in more easily.
