I just posted an article on dementia that follows right along with your comment. I’m sorry your sister and the whole family are dealing with it. I know how hard it can be.

I also was raised with the Bible, but like you, it just stopped making sense to me, not only logically, but it didn’t fit with my feelings about God. I always tell my readers to follow their intuition and take or leave what works for you. I feel the same way about the Bible and all spiritual beliefs.

There are some messages that I don’t completely understand either, but I think some things just need time to be processed, you know? If you have questions, you can always ask me for clarification or more information.
