I can so relate! I’m retired now and on a fixed income. It’s getting more challenging to cover all the bases. Doing it alone makes it even more challenging. I get a little mad at my late husband when I have to take care of business on the phone, because that was always his job, as I do NOT have the patience for it! Little things piss me off, like double vanities, his and her accessories, and Valentines Day, as those are things I no longer relate to or appreciate.

Honestly, Ted, I wonder sometimes what my soul was thinking when planning this life! The Angels say adversity leads to growth and learning, and I try really hard to remember that, but damn, I wouldn’t mind growing a little less at this point! After all, on Earth, I’m only human!
