Hi, Jennifer. That was the main reason I left Christianity. I’ve asked those questions to the Angels and to Jesus. So much has been misunderstood where Jesus is concerned. It took me a while to quit the church, because I love Jesus so much, and I finally found the courage to leave for the same reason. Jesus is love, period. He came to teach, not to be worshipped, but people took things over and got a lot of things wrong, both purposely and accidentally. I realized that I could discard Christianity and still keep Jesus and His teachings.

I trust my heart and my intuition when it comes to beliefs. I can understand being angry at religion and those who practice it in an unloving way in the name of God. When I first began to write, you wouldn’t believe the hate Mail and condemnation I received from “Christians”. According to many, I’m headed straight for hell. Luckily I don’t believe in such a place. I asked the Angels how to respond to that kind of thing. They told me to leave hateful people to the Angels. They recommended not engaging with them, because there’s nothing I could say to change their minds, and it would serve better to help those who want to be helped, who benefit from the messages they share. I send them loving thoughts and move on. They’ll listen if and when they’re ready, when their time comes. You can’t reason with unreasonable people. Admittedly, this isn’t always easy, but I’d rather focus on the people I can help than those who do not want my help, and I choose to spend my time on people who are kind and loving.

I had a comment from one of my readers today which was awesome. He said he tries to extend compassion to everyone, that he must, since love and compassion are always extended to him from God and the Angels. Christians got a lot of things wrong, but that’s for them to learn when the time comes. It’s not our responsibility to enlighten them. Wish them well and don’t get into meaningless arguments that don’t change anything. Follow your heart, and leave them to the Angels. They are misguided and could use the compassion they withhold from others.
