Hi, Hannah. Although most likely inspired by God, the Bible was written by men decades after events actually happened, not to mention how many times it’s been translated before being available in English. I’ve actually written an article all about why I don’t take it literally, if you’re interested, and the Archangels support my views. That’s not to say that nothing in it is true, but I temper it with common sense and what I know personally.
