Hi Eric. Great article. I agree, you can’t have it both ways. I always try to put myself in another’s place and try to see things from their point of view, and I’m a little torn here. If I owned my own business and the KKK wanted my services, I would have a hard time serving them. In fact, if they wanted me to develop a website spewing their hatred and ignorance, I just don’t think I could do it. At the same time, there’s no way I could build a conservative Christian website that condemns the long list of people they call sinners. I wouldn’t want to serve anyone that advocates hate for anyone else.
That leaves me in a quandary. I’m all about personal rights for everyone. Should that include the right to deny services to people when it comes to your own business and services? Should anyone be forced to do that? I enjoy and respect your work and would love to hear your thoughts on this.
