Hi, Dave. I asked the same question, and I initially really struggled with the answer. The Archangels say absolutely no one is judged or punished, mostly due to life plans and unconditional love. My understanding is that everything serves a higher purpose, including obvious atrocities. I specifically asked about Hitler, because to me, he’s the representation of evil on Earth. In addition to explaining the abuse and mental illness Hitler suffered, they noted that, because of his actions, we have a very clear picture of the horror man is capable of, and people are still aware of this all these decades later, knowing it is terrible and unacceptable. The Angels do not condone his actions in any way, and they recognize that people like that should be held accountable for their actions while on Earth under human law, but they are still loved unconditionally in the higher realms. Also, the souls of the people who suffered at his hands or at the hands of others agreed to do so for the sake of a higher plan we’re not aware of while here.

This is very hard to understand, much less accept, I know. I struggled a lot with what the soul planned for the human to experience. The entire relationship between soul and human has been hard for me to grasp without resentment, but after thinking and working on it for so long, I’ve accepted that I may never understand why some things happen, in the world and in my own life, but I trust that my soul know more and better than me, and I trust that there is a higher reason than we, as humans, know and are able to grasp.
