Hi Christine. I went through the same process years ago, trying to make sense of everything. I no longer follow Christianity, but I still love Yeshua. I think we all relate to God in our own way. For some, church strengthens that connection, while others choose other paths. I think all the gods worshipped in the major religions are the same God worshipped and understood in different ways. Whatever the belief system, if it brings you love, joy, peace, and hope, and as long as it inspires you to be kind to others, I’d say it’s a good religion for that person.

It takes courage to question and reevaluate your beliefs. It can be uncomfortable. But you’re right, God and His helpers are always close by to guide and comfort. Blessings!
