Hey there, Nicole. Always love to hear from you. So, the simple answer is we come to Earth to learn the lessons we need in order to fully understand the Creator, God, Spirit, however you relate, and commune totally. At that point, we no longer have to return for more lessons if we don’t want to. Earth is the only place we can learn some of these lessons, especially those with low vibrational energy, like jealousy, anger, envy, etc. those lessons aren’t available where our souls reside.

The more complex reason is one I’m still sorting out and has to do with mistakes made eons ago that caused the Earth to fall to the third dimension. Before that, souls acquired the knowledge of those low energy lessons but didn’t have to experience them. After the fall I think the “rules” changed, and souls needed the knowledge as well as the experience, so hopefully, we can avoid history repeating itself. Before the fall, humans had knowledge but no first hand experience and messed everything up.

I don’t promise the complex answer is completely correct, because I’m still learning about it, but that’s what I understand at this time. It makes sense when you think about it because even if you read about fear or anger, etc., the explanation alone doesn’t explain it clearly, but once you experience things like that they become very clear.
