That’s exactly what it’s like when I hear the Archangels! It’s called clairaudience. It’s like the voice I hear when I’m thinking silently, but the words are not mine. The biggest challenge for me was trusting myself. In the beginning, I was afraid I’d get something wrong and I didn’t want to misrepresent the Angels. As more time passed, confidence grew. When you connect again, I’d suggest having pen and paper ready. If your guides are anything like mine, their answers are often very long and detailed. I always write them down.
