I have a couple theories about how things get misconstrued. 1, Everyone has their own way of interpreting things based on their own experiences and background. 2, it wasn’t God who put together the Bible. Maybe He inspired people to write it, but it was written many years after the times of things happening, and a group of men chose what to include and what to leave out. Whether or not these men had good intentions, they definitely had their own agenda in place, and I’m guessing part of it was to keep people in line with what they believed was right. Fear is a great motivator for most. Also, there have been countless translations over the centuries, and I’m sure that affected things as well.

As far as evil entities, the Angels tell me they do not attack humans, and I trust them completely, so whether it’s mental illness, effects of energy around them, part of the life plan, or something else, I’m not sure. I imagine there are a variety of reasons depending on the individual. I do know that God doesn’t ‘zap’ us and the Angels protect us.
