Here’s to telling it like it is! It’s never been about the money for me and still isn’t, although I used to make a lot of it here at one time. If they told me they were now a nonpaying platform, I’d prefer that over telling me how great the changes were and how they’re going to make everything so much better, making up asinine excuses about why they are doing what they’re doing, how they value writers, blah, blah, blah. I may be blond, but I’m nobody’s fool. I never tried to figure out the formula even when it was more fair and upfront, and I’m not going to start now. I’m still here because of the thousands who’ve followed me over the years, although I’ll probably sign off in a few months permanently, more than likely, when I’m ready. I don’t expect that will send management into a tizzy or anything; it’s just not fun anymore, other than the comments I receive from those who’ve followed me.
