Great article, thanks. I ended up leaving religion behind and worshipping God in my own way. The God described in church was not the God I knew and felt. Whatever spiritual beliefs someone has should bring love, joy, peace, and kindness, not fear, suffering, self-loathing, or persecution of others. Blessings!
