Because We Can All Use More Good News!
Happy Friday, everybody! It’s been a busy week for me, as my daughter is graduating with her master’s in nursing this weekend. The hooding ceremony was Wednesday, and as her mother I just have to say, I’m so proud. There were several speeches given by people who were achieving this milestone after twenty years or more, struggling with finding a balance between further study, family, working, etc., and it brought me back to when I was working on my master’s degree. My baby girl turns 29 next month, and she’s only been a nurse for about five years. She is now going to be a nurse practitioner and is already looking into a PhD level degree in anesthesiology. You go, girl!
I usually start my day with Medium, looking for stories by my favorite authors, finding new favorites, hopefully learning something new, often being inspired.
