Why Do We Continue to Personify God with Human Limitations?

The spiritual path is everlasting, it would seem. The more I learn, the more I realize I know very little, and there is so much more out there to learn. It’s been a long time since I pictured God as a bearded man sitting on a throne in the sky, but after giving that impression up, I constantly search for other ways to relate to the Creator, and it’s an ongoing process.

When I practiced Christianity, God was presented as an emotional being; wrathful, vengeful, angry, jealous. That description was easy to disbelieve, because the God I know is a loving God. However, if we take negative emotions away from God, don’t we also have to take away the positive emotions? If God isn’t ruled by His/Her emotions as so many humans are, if there are no negative emotions, can there be any emotions applied to God at all? I asked the Archangels for their input to help me understand, and their response follows.
