Everyone has to find what works for them. Both Jesus and Buddha taught us to live a life of loving kindness. If everyone did that the world would be a much better place. I’m an admirer of the Dalai Lama, also, and have read several of his books. I really appreciate how he says his religion isn’t for everyone, that we should find the belief system that is best for us. There’s no way that one religion would work for all of us; we’re too different. Maybe all the different gods are the same God relating to people in different ways. I don’t identify with either Of the religions you discussed, but I’m happy they work for so many others. Anyone trying to lead a life of loving kindness is on the right track in my opinion.
