Everyone has a different background, upbringing, personality, and experiences which all provide a particular, unique lens through which we view everything, including but not limited interpretations of the Bible. Truth is not absolute. What is true to one is not true to another, and the same can be said of proof. There is room for all interpretations. If your truth leads you to love and kindness to others, I’d say your truth is worthy of belief. In the end, it’s not going to matter what you believe, but rather how much you learned and how you lived your life. There are no absolutes, because we are all so different. As long as we respect each other, and for the most part it seems that you do, we can learn to understand each other’s point of view, whether we agree or not. That’s where progress begins.
