As a fellow retired teacher, I can very much attest to and appreciate your explanation of learning and when and what takes place as we learn. I will add that true learning has depth and is internalized and long lasting, unlike memorization and learning things by rote. True learning is when you are able to apply what you have learned to your life and experience the results. Thank you so much for reminding me of this.
