David, I’m so sorry to hear about your friend and the sadness it causes you. My understanding is that our souls plan our lives with the priority placed on learning lessons that will bring us closer to God, Source, Spirit, or however you relate to who my guides refer to as the Creator of All. Some lessons we need include hardship.

I don’t know what your friends life plan entails, and the Angels won’t share that with me, so I have no idea where her life will lead her, but I am told that everything serves a purpose for either an individual soul or as part of a master, universal plan. I’m sure this isn’t very comforting, and I certainly don’t understand why your friend is going through this. Again, I am so sorry.

I am a Reiki master. I’ve been taught to channel healing energies and release expectations. In other words, if the Reiki has positive effects, I claim no credit, and if it doesn’t seem to help, there is no one to blame. Reiki is loving energy that never harms. I have been able to help some people, but nothing on this scale. If your friend is comfortable with it, if you send me her picture, I’ll be happy to channel energy her way. If you or she call on the Archangels for help, I promise you they will hear and do whatever they can for the highest good, although that doesn’t necessarily mean a cure. They always honor the life plan in place, and they never desert us. You can both also ask them for energies of Light and Love, which is helpful in many ways.

On a lighter note, my Lennon is named after John Lennon as well. My daughter is not biological, although she is the daughter of my heart, and I consider her mine. Her first mother was killed in a motorcycle accident when she was only 15, and she came to live with me and my biological daughter, her best friend, until she graduated from college. Her mother’s name was Donna, and she loved John Lennon, so she’s honoring her mom with her daughter’s name.
