Can Humility and Self-Confidence Co-exist?

The Archangels Talk About Finding the Balance

I’ve always believed in myself, and in my youth, there were times when my self-confidence morphed into obnoxious cockiness. It’s one thing to believe in yourself but quite another to believe you’re undefeatable, and superior. I have felt the sting of lessons in humility several times, and believe me when I tell you, they are never pleasant. One of the first things I asked the Archangels when we started talking was finding the balance between humility and self-confidence. Below is their response.

Question: How can I be sure to balance humility with self-confidence?

Answer:

You tend to think of this as more of an issue for the younger among you because of your personal experiences and growth, but some never find a good balance between the two. To be confident in your abilities is a way of praising the Creator, as you are using the gifts given to you. You should be confident! Confidence can lead to more opportunities. If you believe in your abilities, you are more likely to accept challenges with grace and the comfort of knowing you can rise to the occasion and find success. This is all good.
