Bill, with respect, there are many interpretations of scripture. Which are correct, and which should be cast aside? Who should decide? And what about the people who chose which scriptures to include in the Bible and which to toss out, as you say? If scripture is divinely inspired, why was so much of it left out?

If the Bible resonates with you and makes sense, that’s great, but everyone has to find their own way. Jesus is love. He loved and still loves everyone. I cannot in my wildest imagination picture Jesus condemning over two thirds of the world’s population to eternal damnation, simply because they don’t worship Him or because they interpret the Bible differently than you do. If someone follows the teachings of the Bible, even if the Bible is unknown to them, and leads a life guided by loving kindness, isn’t that person following Jesus also? Blessings to you.
